Amada Senior Care Austin
Patrick Murphy, owner of Amada Senior Care Austin, has had recent senior care experiences in his own family that have reaffirmed his commitment to providing the highest quality of care for his clients in our community, including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and beyond.
Patrick says, “Just recently in my life, we had our first bout with Mom’s dementia. She was driving in her car, and she called my sister and brother-in-law, crying. She didn’t know where she was in her hometown—an area that should have been very familiar to her. My sister and brother-in-law had to go get her.
“So, our family ‘circled the wagons.’ We figured, ‘We’ve got to do something for Mom.’ My sister, Mary Ellen, took Mom into her home, and we quickly noticed that their relationship declined from the mother/daughter relationship they had always cherished. We realized that it would probably be best for Mom if we moved her to an assisted living home, so that she and Mary Ellen could go back to that loving relationship. So, that’s what the Murphy family did.”
“This was a really big learning experience for my family, and it made me realize that there are so many other people who struggle with this and need good care. At Amada South Austin, this is what we provide.”
At Amada Senior Care Austin, our home-care aides do whatever they can to help seniors feel more comfortable and independent in their own homes. This means that in addition to helping with activities of daily living, we seek out meaningful ways to enrich clients’ lives on a daily basis.
If your family is in a similar situation to the Murphy family, and a home-care environment is no longer ideal for a senior loved one, we will help you find the best place in the Austin area to meet all of your physical, emotional, and financial needs. We’ll even help you find the best way to pay for the senior care your loved one deserves, because, as Patrick says, “We treat you and your family like you are one of our own.”
