“We both have been in the healthcare field for 20-plus years,” says Dawn. “Nic is a paramedic and I am an RN who has spent the last 15 years working with seniors in home care, memory care, independent living, and assisted living.”
One of Dawn’s favorite parts of working with seniors is hearing their stories—the lives they’ve lived, the careers they’ve built, the families they’ve raised, and all the experiences they’re willing to share. She loves discovering the strength and wisdom that shine through their memories. “There’s so much to learn from their journeys, and we’re always grateful for the stories and life lessons they so generously pass along,” says Dawn.
