Amada Senior Care Southern Maine
Proudly serving families in Cumberland and York Counties

Our family-run business encompasses three generations of Southern Maine caregivers whose mission of providing the highest-quality care for seniors represents a passion and chosen life’s work. Our matriarch, Marge, enjoyed a long career as a trained caregiver. As a family caregiver, she assists her 94-year-old mother. Jami Smith brings 20-plus years’ of OR experience at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Her sister, Sara, worked as a CNA and is a longtime caregiver. And our college-bound Amelia works part-time as a caregiver. The caregiving team at Amada Southern Maine is dedicated to serving our senior clients, providing the best-quality compassionate care so that these valued elders of our communities can enjoy their autumn years living safely and independently in their own home.

What Makes Us Outstanding

In a nutshell, training, oversight, accountability, and focus on safety are what distinguishes Amada Southern Maine as a provider of superior care for senior loved ones. We invest a great deal of time and energy into training our caregivers, which in part, is why we have earned the highest rating (A+) from the Home Care Standards Bureau, the industry’s standard-bearer. Moreover, we do regular checks with our senior clients and their families to ensure their individual care needs and preferences are being met. We also regularly conduct performance reviews of our caregivers to confirm they are providing exceptional care and meeting our high standards.
