Flourish in Place is a licensed home health agency offering non-medical supportive care for seniors and disabled people in their chosen home environment. In other words, we are a “private duty agency” that provides home care services. The aim of home care is for seniors to continue living independently in their own home or independent living facility of their choice, perhaps for their entire lives, rather than entering assisted living communities, adult day care centers, nursing homes, or locked-down memory care units. Most people would much prefer to stay as independent as possible and “age in place”. We offer home care solutions designed to help people not just age in place, but flourish, in their chosen home environment.
- Caring Companionship, Bed/Wheelchair Transfers
- Bathing, Dressing & Grooming, Incontinence Care, Pet Care
- Light Housekeeping, Laundry & Linen
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Getting Help With Long Term Care Can Be One of the Greatest Crises a Veteran Will Face
All seniors, regardless of their current health, should plan for their old age–a time when many could use help to continue to thrive and flourish while remaining in their chosen home environment. Indeed, the need for long term care can be one of the greatest crises a veteran has faced since returning from war. Without help, an older veteran (or the veteran’s widow or widower) may lose their grasp on the three most important lifestyle concerns in old age:
- Remaining independent
- Having enough money
- Maintaining good health
- These all disappear with the need for senior care, the cost of which can wipe out a lifetime of savings and destroy equity in a home.
Most veterans are not aware of an important benefit available through the U.S.Government commonly known as the “Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit”. This VA benefit can provide up to $2700 per month that can be used for personal home care services for veterans and their surviving spouses–for the rest of their lives!
How do I qualify for up to $2700 per month to help pay for personal home care services?
Any veteran over age 65 who served honorably in the active military service during a period of war (or their surviving spouse regardless of age) should find out if they qualify. They need to meet certain asset and income requiremments and show they could benefit from assistance with activities of daily living.
Flourish in Place Home Care Solutions can help determine if you qualify and get care started (as is required), while accredited VA agents guide you through the application process, all at no cost whatsoever to you.
